LiLee, we are generally always our own worst critic.
So you are unique, you have your good points and your bad points, if you look objectively, if there much you would change about yourself?? Especially if it meant int he scheme of things you had to balan ce things out. Meaning if you took away one bad point, to balance you had to take away a good point?
Celebrate your uniqueness with the knowledge you are a one off original that wont be repeated

I got on great with my mother in law - until I kicked her son out!
I went from being the best thing since sliced bread to 'I don't ever want to see you ever again' - bit difficult seeing as I had 2 of her grandchildren that she loved. I never stood in the way of her seeing them until her son gave up on them while he spat the dummy.
I have been wrapped up the whole weekend with St Patricks Day celebrations - went to Brisbane for the Parade yesterday, had an absolutely top day. Got over my tonsillitis just in time!
And one more day to go!

I only had one in law I really liked and that was my mother in law. The rest of them used to grate on my nerves if I spent any amount of time with them.
Better to have left than anything be said that can't be taken back. I'm sure your son will understand :)

Yeas I got on really well with my mother-in -law too even long after the split. Unfortunately she has Alzheimer now and wouldn't recognize me.
I think my son does understand. Just sad I had to leave and didn't get to spend more time with them.
I miss them so .......
