I dont understand why people think (to be sure to be sure) is Irish,it was those bloody Yanks that made that up,my da was Irish and hated that saying.
Dunlop... I was in Ireland twice last year... and they don't say it there... the locals just laughed the saying off when I mentioned it, saying leprechauns weren't real.

I was there in July, then returned in October... and I usually said whatever I liked.
They forgave me easily saying I was a confused Australian.dunlop67: It kinda helps that im half Irish and half Scottish.
