[My father was extremely successful....what a burden it was for my brothers. I taught my daughter if she and her husband are blessed with ABUNDANTLY, to never tell anyone, to help others secretly, and not to waist her and her husband's monies on things. But to just enjoy all the beautiful things on earth, learn to use it, and teach her children the same. Chuckling.....that's exactly what they do...smiles. Her husband got really stressed during the 2nd pregnancy because he was in Uni and they didn't have a lot of money.....worrying about what my father thought of him, and what I thought of him, because he too was taught to think in terms that providing a good home meant "things" by his family and outsiders. Lol...we never had a lot of money....and were left out of a lot of even family events because of it. But we had a LOT of fun at home and at parks and like neighbors. And we never had to worry about loosing THINGS...]
You have done well... I admit that money and success is not everything.. however, it is lovely to see your children get on in life... and live it to the full...
and for male children with a father who is successful... there is often disdain with the children who don't happen to follow in the fathers footsteps..
That attitude can totally break a child... the pressure, then with pressure comes anxiety and so forth...
Enjoying what you have is totally correct..

Theresa4tgl: EXACTLY... but one thing I have to disagree with. Christianity doesn't believe in "a" god....Christianity believes that The one True Living God, created a body to place itself into and named it Jesus. To come and show MAN how to walk, talk, and live...showing by EXAMPLES of his actions what we need to know. Before we ever had a body, each and everyone of us were created with unconditional love and forgiveness before we were given a body. Our job here on earth is NOT to be as the hypocritical Pharisses and Sadducees passing unrighteous judgments on people.....nor to go about killing in the name of a god....nor to stone people. We are to love, forgive, and if that person wants to continue on in their ways of hate and destruction....we are to wipe the dust off our feet and move on so we do not become like them filled with anger and hate...
Ah yes, not just any god but the Real One God. Don't you think ALL the other religions think that their god (or gods, if they have several) is the REAL one(s)?? No, I guess there are some religions who acknowledge that there are "other" gods equally deserving of the name God, but I don't know which.
One religion that doesn't allow other gods is Islam, which was revealed to Mohammed by the same Angel Gabriel as mentioned in the Christian Bible. In the coming decades we will discover just how joyful it is to believe in a holy and all-merciful god, the one true god. I wonder if we will ever have to give up our cherished "Freedom of Religion" that all democracies enshrine in their constitution?
I would go as far as introducing voluntary Euthanasia no age barrier. Bring a mate and take an advantage of two for one price and if you bring your mother in law you can even save more.

National borders are not real, it is only the faith that people, governments, and nations put in them that makes them real.
People are instinctively "faith" based beings. Every single one of us do what we do because we "believe" (aka have faith) that it is the right thing for us to do.
So basically every human life is not real because every human life consists of things based in faith.
Agnosticism is based in the faith that there is no god. Christianity is based in the faith that there is a god.
Everything that has been developed, every invention is the result of faith that there was a better way to do something, or an easier way to do something.
Faith is real, and it produces reality.
