Do you think they feed off eachother in their industry to make as many dollars as they can (and/or get kickbacks)$$$$, or have they really got our best interests in their hearts?????

Does the Oath still mean anything these days, or are they like everybody else Greed, greed, greed $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Bit of both mr.L

There are computer buffs making viruses and then there are computer buffs fixing them.

Last year medicine has saved one million people and only half a million died laugh

The question is, why are more and more people getting sick every year with new diseasesdunno

mickyj63: this is one of your bug bears wash

My bugbear is those whingers who want everything for nothing.

"I have never worked. Why should I pay for medical treatment?"

I have paid for my home (okay, owned a few over the years), paid to have them renovated, paid for them to be painted, paid for new carpet to be installed, paid for new flyscreens to be installed. Unlike some who have managed this without working, courtesy of the Govt, I do not have a holiday home on the coast nor a big boat to tow behind the 4wd drive that I have bought with the money that I earned working.

After 45 years of taxable working, okay I am now getting some things for almost nothing. My scripts were nearly $100/month. Great with $0 income. With a Health Care Card, they are $18/month.

My recent little stay was financed not by the Govt but by the many years of contributing to a Private Health Fund. When I consider that without the Private Health Insurance, I was very lucky to find a Public Hospital Emergency Dept open after 5pm, let alone to have the service that I really needed within 3 days.

My bugbear is people who have minimally contributed (if that) who complaining about paying for what they get. Yeah, daughter's mum-in-law complaining because the painter missed a tiny spot in her houso place.

Oh yeah, "The shade was not what we expected after we had discussed this with the HC guy. Can you change it to a bit lighter?"

epirb: milking goats not a bad idea , eat any thing and not to big to handle . Going by the Stinking Billy Goat (rip) not hard to catch , more so in winter as the bloody thing would be inside in a flash if the door was left open . Cost me a lot of cornthins to bribe him to go out side . I have read where Aussie cattle stations use them for milk as well . Guess goats are not affected by 10 year droughts .

Goat milk products have a lot less of the problems/affects that bovine (cow) milk does. I just hate the taste of the milk......do enjoy the cheese derivatives.

A lot of Aussie properties have managed to survive the very long drought in outback Aust as they did manage to harvest goats for meat exports.

For some reason, goats are very more tolerant to a lot of diseases plus they do have a stronger digestive system compared to a lot of other breeds (sheep & cattle).

Probably because they have not been so "refined" for a particular aspect (meat, milk, etc). I would describe this "refining" process as genetically modifying the breeds but apparently that term (GM) is limited to lab refining, not doing it through genetic breeding.
