Who likes to dance?

When I was a young lad I use to love to dance, it didn't matter what it was as long as I could shake my bum to the rhythm of the night laugh even did some ballroom. grin

I was thinking of joining some type of dance club.

My question is do I need a partner or can I just join and they provide one for you?

Irish dancing is great exercise, a lot of Irish people are over in Australia atm, maybe you can join an Irish dancing group there and meet an Irish lass. irish

Dance classes should be an excellent way of meeting people, you can talk while dancing - and they can't run away that easily. grin

While growing up and in Primary School, we were taught how to dance. We learnt some great stuff suchas Pride of Erin, Cha Cah, Waltz, 2-Step, Fox Trot....

Yeah and we rebelled and learnt (ha) how to do the Stomp, the Monkey and many other things us male "non-rhythmic people" were incapable of without a lot of booze.

But having grown up in the Rock'N'Roll era and loved the real music, it was hard to find the "new" rhythm. So sticked to what I sort of knew. Did enjoy a bit of the Mellow Yellow, etc.

But in the late 90s I met a lovely lady who loved singing and dancing. Okay, she was a great dancer. But one thing she taught me was that the best way was to close your eyes and imagine.

Yeah, she was a great dancer but her singing was worse than mine (and that is saying something).

Errm AA...wave if you join in with ballroom, you will find you will be in so much demand... you won't know who to choose... there is always about 9 gals to every guy there, so you will be very popular.. try it... and see if you like it.. grin

My guess is that you will become addicted in a very short while... cartwheel joy Happy Daze AA
