PrOwLeR__: they call what we know as Prime Mover or for those of you who don't know what this is ... its the engine part of a semi trailer ... where as amongst the yanks they are more typically know as TracToR's ....so knowing this, I have to wonder when it comes to the Transformers series why one is known as Maximus Prime and Maximus TracT ........

well I guess my TracToR thread is destined to the abyss ... and to think I even added Transformers to make it interesting ..... 
I'd suggest the best place to ask this since most Americans don't come here because Aussies beat them up....so you'll not get the answer you need.....is go to the blogs where there's a lot of Americans, or Forums......and even do a search on the internet.
I have found that by asking people in my country about why people in other countries do what they do.....I never get the right answer unless they've experienced them...

So Tractor can have a number of meanings as a tractor is an engineering vehicle specifically designed to deliver a high tractive effort (or torque) at slow speeds, for the purposes of hauling a trailer or machinery used in agriculture or construction.
So Maximus Tractor could be tranlated to being ..........

With many years of poor dealings with one section of the Tax Office which seemes to be mainly staffed by females, I had sought a word to describe those females who were so busy quoting what someone had previously said to them without realising or understanding what they were saying. "Yes, sir. I have listened to you read to me that section of the Act. Please understand that while the Act does say XXXX it really does not want to mean that and therefore you must pay."
Now after all of those frustrating years I finally find the descriptive word/s I was looking for....just 12 years too late.

When I studied accounting I was taught that TaX is a good thing ... if you are paying TaX ... then ShaBooM ... you are making money ...
I suggested yeah, if your paying TaX you must need a new accountant ...
I was promptly told this is not how an accountant thinks ... and I thought yeah .. go and tell this to Packer, or Murdoch and see what they say .....

Bond Uni did receive some of its money this way.
Unfortunately for Bond, one accountant was extremely creative and because the signature on the bottom line was "A. Bond" guess who went to jail for tax evasion?

Unlike Skase at least Bond did his time .... I am enrolled at Bond Uni for next year, for a charity they sure know how to charge ...
