what if someone chooses not to buy toys yet they chose to invest in helping others but does it in secrete and doesn't brag about it. Because they have nothing materialistically does that mean they accomplished nothing? Must be one of those ones that start without causing any spark. I worked at castrol oil for a short time and drove one of them forklifts (that go into flammible areas). I can't remember off hand what they were called
But everytime i started the forklift it sounded like a peter built starting up

I was watching Landline last Sunday and they had an interview with an ex-pat Aussie who now lives in Singapore. He his worth almost $Au 1 billion and has invested around $40 million in a couple of properties in the NT over the last few years. Not bought the properties but invested in the potential for those properties to see a decent return with infrastructure development.
And he can see himself making money out of his investment when the banks would not go near any cattle properties as there is a good chance the next Federal Govt may again ban live exports.
The short ban on live exports that happened when the Govt of the time only looked at the enviro votes without looking at what impact it had on Australia or any truths behind what was happening (the Indonesian abbattoir shown was only doing what they had ever learnt and has readily adopted more humane measures) is about to go to the Federal Courts.
It is not only those mega-rich cattle produces (as if) earning $2.32/kg (wish they would export them at that price to Melbourne) on those live exports for the better quality cattle but also think about the transport operators, dock workers and many other associated industries that have suffered.
