What I want to know who is going to pay for these fines as the kids got no jobs and majority of parents are on some form of sickness benefits. Read more:

And after parents have busted their butts paying for their schooling, then BOOM!! One $8000 fine which would cripple most families.
Whoever it is controlling the price of fines etc... need their butt holes filled with wads of money jmo only

I'm guessing those fines are set on the higher level putting the responsibility back on parents and the kids. Who sets those laws I would say the GC council as they would be employing extra police to combat the drunken problem.

Maybe parents should send their kids back to school after schoolies again to get re-educated
