Axl Rose replaces Brian Johnson on AC/DC tour


Any suggestions on who whould make a good frontman for the band if BJ does'nt return?

Following the announcement that AC/DC had recruited Axl Rose to serve as vocalist for the band's remaining Rock or Bust tour, many fans criticized the move as it officially removed longtime lead singer Brian Johnson from his post. However, in a new statement issued Tuesday morning, Johnson explained that it was the threat of "total deafness," and not his bandmates, that forced him to leave AC/DC.

In March, AC/DC abruptly postponed 20 gigs in both North America and Europe after doctors advised Johnson to either quit performing live or face "total hearing loss." "That was the darkest day of my professional life," Johnson said of the diagnosis in his new statement. Even before that, the singer noticed something was aurally wrong while onstage.

I have been watching ac/dc coverbands from around oz on youtube, there are ones with very good frontmen.

Jmo ONLY .. Maybe some of those guys should be looked into as a repacement . Sorta makes sense seeing that they know all the songs and voices/moves etc..

A hell of a lot of ozzies have dedicated themselves to ac/dc for many many years and would jmo make one ozzies dream come true if he was chosen and bring the band that bit closer back to oz. (plus it would create a job)

I hope when it's time for Angus to depart the band they dont go off shore again ... Like you said he is not getting any Young er


Myself i don't think (JMO ONLY) that Axl will cut it for our generation, but there again i could be wrong which as you know i usually am .. Just hope he don't sound like meatloaf or norman gunston
