I realise this isn't going to win me any hearts on this site but as I haven't anyway I am no worse off.
This comment is probably biased against ladies because that is the area of my experience but it probably applies to both sides of the page.
I am slowly understanding why most people are on these sites......single.
I can not recall finding a more self centred group of people anywhere !
Profiles listing how wonderful they are, how good they look, what they have to offer, what they want.
ABSOLUTELY NOTHING SUGGESTING THEIR CONCERN/CARING FOR OTHER PEOPLE
and this then confirmed by the failure to respond to messages
Hours spent preparing their profile/photos but cant take little more than a minute for a "thanks but no thanks" reply. Saving a few finger strokes on the keyboard at the expense of common manners.
Does anyone of us really want to become emotionally involved with this type of person. Obviously their previous partner didn't.

That's true in 99% of cases with Aussie women. Not all though. One very nice lady in Tasmania was considerate enough to answer my mail advising me that distance was too great. Fair enough, I am in N.Q. after all. Too many wannabe cougars on here, 65y.o's looking for 40 something. There's only 1 in all of Qld. looking for our age group and she hasn't been online in over a month. Pretty slim pickings here in Oz it seems.australia moping

Greg I think maybe you're being a little unfair there - profiles are intended to be about the person they represent and what they're looking for, not necessarily about their philanthropic outllook.

I noticed that the age range you seek in your profile is 50 - 70, are you messaging women closer to the 50 mark than the 70?

If so, maybe that's why you're getting no response.. I'm 59 and a man in his 70s does not appeal to me.

Also, women, in general, have no obligation to respond to mail if they choose not to.

They tend to get loads and 99% are idiots or time-wasters wine

Haha lookin you can't see this one its inside my head
One specialist thinks it's blood don't need an operation
Another specialist thinks it's not blood if I tell you what it is you would get sick lol
Had an MRI to see if we could get the info
Unfortunately legal tribunal had me cancel my appointment to get the results . Then they complained because they didn't get the results lol
So next Tuesday hopefully I'll get the answer if I do have a non contagious disease caused by the brain injury .
And I can't talk anymore about the legal stuff they have eyes every where

While I am very acceptable to younger women chasing me and I do find you ......okay , we are so different in age and location .... you are so together in what you have said.

I have just sent a "Happy birthday" greeting on facelessnessbooing
to someone from my year at school who was years older than me. Due to the much Nerd TV, was I ahead of my time, where the dumbasses or was school trying to catch up with the time?

That's an interesting statement wash . I was normally the youngest or second youngest student in my classes . Didn't stop the teachers saying I couldn't learn a foreign language as I'm not bright enough . That was year 8 advance to year 10 somehow I scrapped through to year 11 . Passed into year 12 an internal year 12 I wished to do two history courses history head took one look no way sorry . Two weeks into year 12 history senior is my teacher why didn't you do extra history class umm yeah
So I'm still getting I'm not bright my employer which ever one is in charge look at me you can only do the manual part . They've even said you can't use a computer previous job I had to put and make up codes for products on computer ??. Break times on my phone on Facebook offically we aren't allowed on phones at work unless it's our break still don't like staff on Facebook never stopped me I'm still considered not smart they don't get I can use Facebook

I agree with all you say. But I was bought up to make sure we say thank you for your interest. And then say sorry but I'm not interested. I myself reply to every single person. I would wish others would do the same. I think it is manners too. Warm wishes wayne.
