Gotta agree with Kizzy's post, especially the parts about privacy. If you're going to meet someone in the real world, make sure its in a public place the first time, and don't give out any personal information like your address or your full name until you've met them in person and you know them well enough to trust them. I actually found a good guide to the whole online dating thing a while back when I was new to it - if you check out , they've got some useful info.
