Hi everyone. On Saturday I`m off to a little resort in Italy for about 10 days. Its on the Adria Riviera, near Venice ...... the weather report for there says sun sun sun. But after dark does it get cold? Do I need an umbrella for rain? Do I need anything warmer than my bikini/sarong/light tshirt?
Any advice appreciated, as luggage space is limited - going by auto - with 4 others, and we going for self-catering .... so realy my bag has to be small and compact

I have light macs that are light, colourful and easy to tote about, fold easily into my luggage. I have around six, a vareity of colours. Small hand umbrella for my handbag and a scarf for my head, always in my purse.

Have a great time, I love Italy.
You make me cry Sommer. I dont have any light colourful easy to pack raincoats, in any colours, and I want to know if anyone living there thinks its a good idea to pack umbrella. My purse only holds my money and cards and passport.........My raincoat is something I wear when yachting ...... not that light or easy to pack, but if they get regular rain showers then I take it - in place of the spare tyre .........

Dry your tears, Granny.
Go to H and M and buy a summer macintosh... Tomorrow.
Don't take your sailing jacket, sheesh Granny, I have those, they are dead heavy.
Don't pack an umbrella then, if it rains, buy one there.
Or find a nice mac down there, light, cotton colourful, smart, can be worn with anything.
