I would just ask her to marry me. Don't waste time man, get on with it. Time is burning up, the clock is ticking.
Oh ok, well for goodness sake, get her some flowers and ask her out to do what ever you think would be fun, then ask her to marry you at the end of the night. haha

My experience tells me don,t go in too strong at first as you might scare her off and lose her as a friend.Slowly slowly catchee monkey. Invite her out to a little romantic restaurant and just see what happens.thumbs up

1 does she have a boyfriend (or girlfriend)? If yes, then don't rush it.

2 Do you ever go to discos / bars / pubs / parties together? Anywhere that you have a few alcoholic drinks? Try kissing her after you've both had a couple of drinks.

3 If you don't go drinking together, why not just ask her how she feels about you and then tell her how you feel about her - but make it plain that if she wants to keep your relationship platonic then that's fine by you (assuming it is actually fine by you?).

4 If she doesn't want to be your girlfriend, get yourself out to your student social scene and start talking to different girls.

Have you ever had a girlfriend?

Once you've had one, you'll find it's much easier to get the next one because you'll realise that there's not a lot to worry about and that girls aren't so different to boys.

Anyway, good luck and enjoy yourself. Wish I was a student again!

I think that the differences between men and women are like the differences between the Roman Catholic and the Anglican churches.

A lot is made over the differences, but when you look at it on a global scale there are more similarities than differences.

Pj yes indeed!

Like last week - my friend got a phone call from her husband. She hardly spoke, he spoke, for a very short time. When she hung up she looked very confused. Said he`d given some curt instructions for the evening after he gets home. She spent the next few hours agonizing over who in his family had died, could have had an accident, was he having an affair and wanted a divorce?

When he got home .... he had `flu, and wanted to go straight to bed and sleep.

One thing for sure is women don't wait very long. Men can go years without asking a woman to marry him after they have even been seriously talking about it, but women want the commitment.
Women want security, if there is no security, they start to panic and will find security elsewhere. Marriage is a form of security, also money is seen as some form of security for some women, but if the woman is really insecure, then there is nothing that can make them feel secure in life.
That is the difference I see between men and women.

So don't wait too long to ask a woman out or she will find someone else or someone else will find her. Then, if its that serious in a relationship, don't beat around the bush, just take it to the next step and put a ring on her finger.

I think any woman should ask the man she likes out as well, for so many men get the wrong signal when a woman really does like them and the man thinks she don't so doesn't ask her out. I mean, all it takes is a woman to have a bad day and look upset when a guy passes her on the street, he will think she is making the digruntled look at him, but really she is just having a bad day. Goes vice versa also. So if someone gets your attention and you like them and they don't have a ring on their finger, ask them out.
The worst they can say is no, then its on to the next person you like.

We cannot read minds unless you have been part of the Eavesdropper Project. haha. So all you can do is ask her out and see. If she says no, then make sure you are able to maintain the friendship for she may say yes later when she knows you more.
Have no fear, if she likes you as it is already clear as you are hanging out together all the time, then she will say yes.

Phoenix: Not everyone agree's........

...Scientists have known for a while now that men and women have slightly different brains, ScienceDaily... (Dec. 1, 2005) —

Yes "slightly different brains".

Just as Roman Catholics and Anglicans are slightly different.

Just as the focus is often on the differences between Catholics and Anglicans. The Pope vs the Archbishop of Canterbury / the Queen of England. Mass vs Sunday Service. No birth control vs birth control etc etc etc

But when it comes down to it both are: monotheistic. Both are based on the New Testament with a large influence on the Old Testament. Both believe in the divinity of Christ etc etc etc.

Women and mens brains both have the same basic structures. Work via the same bio-electrical processes. Are connected to the rest of the body via nerves.

And when it comes down to it, I have more in common with a typical British woman - in terms of what I think about, my attitude to life, my desires, my perspective on life - than I do with a typical man from a non-European culture.

Women are not from Mars. Men are not from Venus. Women are from Earth. Men are from Earth.

Women are not some mythical unicorn type creatures.

As a 16 year old, to me women were like some unassailable mythical type creatures. When I got to know one intimately I realised that they weren't - that they were similar to me, but with more of a feminine character.

And that coming back to the Original Post, there's every chance that zhkhan's friend wants the same things out of their relationship that zhkhan does.

Roman Catholics vs Anglicans. I was using an analogy.

To make the point that it is human nature to exagerate and to focus on the difference between 2 similar things.

Phoenix, this is what you are doing when you say that "Men and women are very different. And I'm not talking about their bodies..How they think is very different" You are focusing on and exagerating the differences between men and women.

Try a different one..God's got nothing to do with and it's a bad anology...

Turst me on this lint, I'm in no way focusing on fit nubiles bodies..I'm talking about how fit nubiles use the grey matter between their ears...And it's very different to blokes.
