Sometimes I correct, sometimes not… people usually understand from the context. But the most annoying for me is abbreviations “asap” and the like. Mainly used by them whose first language is English. How thick one has to be to guess that what’s obvious for him isn’t always obvious for others? When I ask whether he’s in hurry, he wonders why I ask such a question… But if you are not in hurry, how difficult it may be to write the whole word? Got “playing hard to get” more than once… I’m not playing anything: if you want me to understand you, please make some efforts to make yourself understood. Otherwise what would be the point in communication?

No, don't leave it if I see it. On a one-to-one, just as, or even more important that the message sent is message received, unless extremely obvious it is a typo. In which case, I might leave it and just comment about typos in next post.

I correct them if I see them - force of habit, and also avoids unnecessary misunderstandings.
