I hope to have my oldest daughter and her partner over from Barcelona to stay for a couple of weeks. Christmas day is at my younger daughter's house with extended family and grand-babies.
Some part of me is still hoping my son and his partner can be there too, but it seems unlikely, because she is very sick in pregnancy, so I might go visit them in Ukraine at new year. We will share the day via webcam though so they don't feel left out.wine

Just got back from 9 days in the UK to see my family and friends. My daughter cooked a special Christmas lunch while I was there, complete with crackers and paper hats, we had a wonderful time. Now penniless after buying all the presents but was worth it. Christmas Day itself will be spent in Cyprus cooking dinner for some friends and chilling out with a few bottles of wine afterwards.

My son's partner has graciously invited me over for Christmas dinner, and I hope to persuade my ex to join me in the fun even it be just for that one day. We are all doing some of the cooking.
I will make the lasagne, my son's gf will cook the turkey, my ex should do the mushroom soup if she comes, and my son the desert. Our other invited friends will provide the wine, the mulled wine and the soft drinks.

Cheers!
