All of them told me the same:
- Because threads are childish, I am adult and I cant see any purpose for being there. Even, I don't like to read stupid, childish stories from old persons.-
And my true is: they have right.
I can read here that some persons in my age still think and act as when they did when they were 16 !
Old ladies are acting like that they are still fathers princess; old guys are acting like that they are still lions.
Why ?
Can't we be what we are ? Can't we respect each other the way we are in real life?
Do we all have to act that we are something what we are not to deserve the respect from the others that are also acting that they are something what they are not trying to attract ours respect for this what they are not!!!???

Lots of people leave site for lots of reasons.

But if you keep in touch with them privately and have possibility to discuss our childish behavior, so you haven’t lost anything. What then is the grief?

There are many reasons why people leave and disappear, the most common is that they lose interest.
The second is that they would have hooked with somebody through CS or otherwise
Thirdly they would have discovered like I did the number of false profiles that there are on CS
Fourth they would also have had enough of some banal threads or comments by individuals who disrupt some good threads and stifle them and bring them to an end.
Problem is that some of the people I like to see go, remain, and others that I enjoy exchanging comments in the forum go!
But then what would you expect from a topsy turvy world like this?
Regarding the question about you attracting anybody's respect, you have to do nothing with it, but after having asked that question, I would'nt worry too much about it. It is the other person that has to hold you in high esteem!!!!

I write as I feel young or old. Mostly I feel young but I have years of experience in life so sometimes write from that point.

Ja exactly! I AM old .... and I am also still, inside my head, 20 years old .. or maybe by now about 30 ...... still the same person ... still learning, still living, still making mistakes ..... hundreds of mistakes ... there are just SO many new mistakes to make!
... And I stay here because of all the nice people on this site.
Sure, there are time wasters .... a few scammers ..... but mostly genuine nice people.
and this is a good way to stay in contact.When I go to Malta one of these days, I still hope to have a great party with the Maltese members!.. and get to meet them, the old and the new.

Once, long long ago ..... I saw this really old lady ... still with a slim figure, dressed in shorts and halter top, weeding her garden ... all tanned, with long hair hanging down her back ......... and my Mom told me she`s 75years old ....!!!!!... and everyone in the street said she "should" dress and "act" her age. I thought she was absolutely effing marvelous!!!!!
I thought to myself ... WOW ... when I`M 75 I really hope to be like HER!
That's the way. Why should I at 75 years old not enjoy life if I'm in good health. Regarding this site I still log in for the simple reaoson that girls and guys over here are fun, I already met some interesting people and forums are interesting and posts are done from great people all over the planet which does not also gives different point of views but also hopefully will make meet a natural redhead with some nice tattoos on which loves rock music

I would add another reason, and that´s that some people have jobs and a social life outside CS, so may disappear for long periods, or pop in and out.
I´ve always been a little wary of people who seem to be here 24/7.
Some seem to get disappeared in some ways or others!
