Bluntly...cause its easier to live your life as u always have, using the tried and tested method, some people in themselves think they already are good people, hence no reason to become better, as for not moving on, well some people are scared to.
As to grabbing that something or someone to make my life better, either she'd slap me around the face, or i'd be inside for theft

I know it's weird...... my theory is they're afraid of change, getting hurt again, of things not working out and then there are those who are practical in their way of thinking...JMO
I can reply from my own experience.
In some cases there are person they think more to other person and they choose responsability and duty instead to live for themselves

simply because they dont want to or cant ie suffering from narssism whereby they wont change cos they think that they are always right its the others that have to change. Some people find comfort from constantly living in the past instead of moving on to pastures anew. One would think that if one finds something better then that person would grab it and not let it go, but alas in reality life is somewhat different and so are human beings.
This is due my lovely lady that many people are plain stupid and do not see past their nose. If they have been rejected by a loved one then they must accept that the other person just does not get out of the relationship what they do. You can not force these things. So, it requires a strong character to accept this and move on.

Maybe because they don't know any better...maybe because they are happy as they are...maybe because they are them and we are us, and each has his own yardstick.
But perhaps it is because each has his different priorities and values.
I wouldn't let it bother me though. My cross is heavy enough as it is and certainly I wouldn't carry somebody else’s.

Jeez Gussi as always you get it......... I guess sometimes we have to except that in real life we can never ever all see and feel things in the same way. It is hard to sometimes......as you can feel pretty helpless looking on when someone can not see the wood for the trees. In my life I sort of always want to keep the people around me happy and find it pretty frustrating..........I recon i have to work harder at exceptance of others even if i can see them fall before they do. Thanx to all for the comments so far.
