Whats a Demi God...? Is that the same as a Semi God?... like half a god? Why would you be a half god if a whole god made you? Would you make a half person and if you could, why? What would be the point in duplicating yourself and leaving out half ...?
Oh you are meaning a God with only half a brain maybe? Ah ha, that must be what the problem with humans is! Maybe God is the only one with a complete brain? And we get our other half if we really really good down here on earth, when we die we get the the other half, a sort of reward for being good?
And if you not really really good, then you forfeit the other half of your brain, and return to earth again ..... a Semi God!

I think if god were real, we'd get younger and more handsome with the passing of time instead of older and wrinkly ... and we wouldnt go on to make worm food .. nuff said .. 6000 years of theology for what? ..

Worm food? .....We all get more gorgeous looking .... and then we get more wisdom (well, some of us anyway, some just get older and wrinkly) ...... and the worms keep the earth replenished with expert recycling.
My worry is about all these dead bodies being burnt into ashes, instead of planted!
We always planted a fruit tree on a grave - best fruit you ever eaten. Now we gotta use artificial fertilizer stuff......
Anyway .... IF you gotta say "IF God is real..." then you better hedge your bets and believe He/She is Real! Cause what you gonna do when the big shut-eye hits you and you find He/She IS real? And if they not real ... what you gonna lose anyway?

however, the phrase 'if god were real' is a second conditional clearly stating that I dont think he/she/it is real ... and dogmatism never interests me in a conversation .. and believing out of fear of what might or might not come to pass is hardly the tactic that a loving god would employ, I'd have thought ..
but you think differently and I'm pleased for you ..
