I hardly ever cry-I'd rather go out with a mate and have a beer or 5 and a giggle-puts things in perspective, and me in a good mood.buddies

Mazza1970: no one likes crying as its normally related to saddness

Yes, I agree that no one likes crying as its normally related to sadness....

However, like laughter, crying is an emotion....
everything in life has got an opposite and that give balance... for example, good+bad, pretty+ugly, old+young, etc etc...
the opposite side of the coin to the laughing (happy) emotion is crying (sad)...

Yes we do tend to publicly release our laughing emotion and share its release of feelgood factor with those around us....

On the other side of the coin we tend to bottle up the crying emotion because of the feeling of sadness both to ourselves and the others around us

However, in my opinion, the continued suppression of this sadness emotion can lead to detrimental effects to the mental state of one's health; I think that the occasional bouts of tears (letting the floodgates open in private) when we are feeling sad is probably quite beneficial to us/our mental state.... JMO

I'm not saying that we should go round wailing like banshees at the slightest reason to be sad....laugh

One last point.... Personally, I want to share my man's happy times and his sad times... so if he wants to cry, my arms will be there for him...hug
