All that comes to mind:
“Fish, chips, cuppa tea, bad food, worst weather, Mary-****ing-Poppins… LONDON!

Never been there, so the only I can say is “Good luck!” wine

Though I myself wouldn’t move to another country without securing a job first.

Well… last year UK was ranked as the 6th largest economy it the world by three reliable judges: IMF, World Bank and CIA (according to Wiki). So all can’t be that bad here, something has to be good. Or at least comparing to other countries.

But of course, a lot depends on one’s perception: an optimist claims that we live in the best of possible worlds, and a pessimist fears that it’s indeed so.

cheers

Moving successfully is about checking your personal goals and reasonable expectations.
I'd really try to get into forums full of professionals of your expertise in England and listen to what they have to say about your market, if that's your major motivation.Even then, you should go see for yourself because you never know your exact shape until you get there and hear it yourself.
Make friends, find a simple job that you can handle and be humble on your immediate expectations.
You would not call China town to ask how business is doing if you intend to pursue a career at Broadway, would you?

but its not just a career, its quality of life...now unless u can afford to live in some of the better areas, u will always be looking over your shoulder wondering if ur gona get knifed for your fone, or the £10 in your pocket...or the other way is you blend in and show attitude with body language and u get left alone but is this a life?...i didnt enjoy being something i'm not, so i fixed that...dude stay where u are
