Just to even up the comments, I love London. I love the smell, the banter in the bus queue, the way the rain glitters on the greasy pavements.

I love Londoners who tell you their whole lives in the queue for the hole in the wall, and then wander off saying, "Well, nice chatting to you, then..."

I love London's shops, the markets, the mad Spanish bars round the back of T Crt Rd, the fact that you can buy anything any time round the clock, I love it for being simultaneously Heaven and Hell!

So I guess that's my colours pinned to the mast. And now y'all know I'll prolly be back in the Smoke once I've cleaned up a few responsibilities over here!

I´m shocked. I thought of you as an adopted and content Frenchie! laugh

I love my roots...Liverpool and Southampton, but I can´t ever imagine me returning. Spain is in my blood now.

Hiya Jan!

Yes, I think I am thoroughly Froggie now. I even have my Froggie nationality to prove it. But I might really be a Froggie who likes living abroad - like I was once a Brit who liked living abroad.

Am I making sense? No? Oh dear. Back to 'Allo'Allo...

Why???? Why sell your soul to the devil..bad enough living in hell.

As a european you don't any other nationality other than the one you were born with...And the only thing it gave you was the right to vote in presidential elections...

I'm seriously intrested..(been here the best part of 17yrs and never once have I even thought about taking it up)...

Wordy I'm not piss taking...

Phoenix: I'll take on board what you said...

I was born in Belfast, gives me dual nationality..And for me to have an Irish passport (cause I'm irish) cost 80..So i'm up 6euro (or 14 beers in lidel)

I've never had the problem with chq's here...(once when my parents bailed me out of a big hole..took 30 days for the chq to clear...)

Just intrested...No malice or crap meant.

In fact (after thought) my oldest wee girl asked me to renew her passport last weekend but not to use her moms name but mine..(She's jewish and wants to travel to the middle east next yr..)

And going by what you've said (i believe you)...means some passports are better than others to move freely around the place..I thought all EU passports carried the same strenght...

Here's some Sarko's... (not Rosie..can't stand the stuff)..

Another after thought..Do you reckon thje dwarf will do a 2nd term?

Yes, some passports are indeed better than others (even in the same community).
I'll collect as many as possible.
grin

Hmmm, yes I do! Why? Cause although no-one loves him, the Froggies aren't ready to have a pack of squabblin' women runnin' the show either... now if the Lefties can get their collective asses in gear and field a sensible candidate (even a sensible female one) things might be different. But with the field as it is, I reckon the Dwarf will romp him without even straightening them there triangular eyebrows!

Dunno about romping home..but I'm with you unfortunatly, he'll probably do a 2nd term..

I reckon La France is is a similar place as to what the UK was during Maggie's reign of terror..
