Well, Meinme, I am only here because I got stuck here ... about 4 years ago .. or maybe its 5! .....
And I like the people here .. they got a good sense of humour, and some really crazy ideas about life ......They are mostly relaxed and easy to get on with, compared to some other forums where they shoot you down in flames if you say the wrong things!
But I am only here for this forum ... I found my real-life partner living right here in my little cow-town village!

At one time when CS was really new, they did close the forums for a short period due to some trouble.
In the thread I linked to, they said that they would never close the forums again.
If they had sent someone an email about closing the forums, I would imagine that everyone would get an email or they would post it here in the forums.
