many many women in real life to are like what yr saying, money money money, thats what there only interested in nothing else
I never had that request. And I met some truly beautiful/wonderful people here ?.
I almost believe that those "scammers"-women are driven by the fact that this dating site is free with all the facilities that can connect them to unexperienced men to be ... trapped! That includes money, of course forget about relationship! Economic crisis? Financial obligation?
I wish one day I could meet and talk or ... well, just read one of article / story which told me the experience of women / men who did that.

I taught in Africa for a year, 2005-2006 school year. I was living in a village just out of the city. I used to go to one of the city's many internet cafes periodically to catch up on my emails. It was full (and I mean packed full) of very young men who didn't have two dimes to rub together. Quite poor by our standards but par for the course for the regular non-office worker. They filled the internet cafes and spent hours posing as women, complete with beautiful pictures of women, trying to scam people with a bigger hard-on than brains for their money. As an 'outsider' they of course chatted a lot with me. They were not bad people, but just people with very little money who had to hustle to make money. A bit sad actually.
We are all adults here and people should just be more cautious about who they are communicating with and refrain absolutely from sending money to anyone under any circumstances. This is a dating site, not a money exchange bureau.
You're absolutely right. I've been trying 8 different dating sites (6 international based in Russia and USA, and another 2 local based in France) before and almost of women from outside of EU are interested in either money or residing paper, nothingelse. However, I've met very nice ladies who're true in life through local sites and I still keep in touch with them as friends.
