To do what I have to do I need admin rights but on other linux systems (such as backtrack) you don't need to use SUDO....

So I'm right....

yea I remember openSuse also only using su

so ur right cheering

Interesting distro...I might have a look at someday.

Myself I finally managed to get 3D acceleration working on my Hackintosh. yay
So I'm triple booting Linux/Mac/Windows...but only for testing my cross platform apps.

Mac reminds me a ten years old Red Hat...which doesn't mean that it's bad...

Spock why triple boot?? Too complicated and it means only one system at any given time...Why don't you set up a virtual machien (Vmware or Sun virtual box or other and do things that way)

Because I need 3D acceleration for testing my apps! Virtual boxes cannot do such.

Because you're not limited to Unity. If you see some annoying bugs in that new software, you can simply switch to the older/classic desktop or even to KDE or whatever.

Dr. Phlox, I've never used Wifi. however in Software Manager are lots of apps.
Anyway where should it be possible to receive free Wifi in France alike your other post? (with my HTC Desire HD)
I might maybe go there later:

They said to have Wifi..might that be free as well?

I checked the site out...really no idea if it's free. But if you have ubuntu...open a shell/terminal and type...

sudo apt-get install aircrack-ng 1.1

and learn how to give yourself free wifi any where in the world..As long as the wifi adapter has the correct chipset it shouldn't be a problem...

wep's are easy..wpa/2 takes a little longer (you'll need a good word list or simple brute force to crack wpa/2)
