It seems that Dutch system is expensieve but good for people. Spanish, national is good but has some queues for treatment.How long? Malta is right place to cure. Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and France are OK. UK has queues. Am I right?

As a matter of fact, it is that of Cyprus's. It is so badly organised and managed that forces you to remain healthy.

There are only 4-5 million people in Finland, a country larger than the UK. It has been my experience that the Finnish hospitals are reluctant to carry out expensive diagnostic test e.g. MRI. The most efficient hospitals are privately run, so it's ok if you have lorry loads of money.

I agree it has one of the best hospitals and equipment,however they are only as good as the people who operate them.The horror stories I have heard of late do not suggest it is the best system.It is no good being free if you end up with more injuries while in hospital than when you went in with.Ask the guy who has been waiting 2 years for a knee replacement if he thinks it is the best.

I have lived in Finland for three years and have had unexpected medical problems during that time. I had knee surgery and was charged absolutely nothing. I think I have paid less than 40€ for some tests since I have been here.
Since I am originally from the USA and had no health insurance for a period in my life, I am impressed and quite satisfied with the Finnish system.

It is not Germany and it is not Ireland.
Switzerland also did not convince me about having a good health care system, but I would say it is better than Germany.

Malta definately has a great health care system. I recently needed some treatment and they were superb to be honest. Even as a foreigner here you're entitled to free treatment, and there's no discrimination at all. 10 out of 10 for me.
