I bought that book from a charity shop last week..its not all it was made out to be..

Something interesting that I found in that book was the method and scale that we use to measure our “participation” in a relationship if I recall correct because I read it long time ago.
Women do many “little” things like:
Cooking
Cleaning
Taking the clothes from the dry cleaners,
Taking the kids to school
Writing the checks for paying the services or going to pay the services (telephone, internet, electric energy, water, etc. all the utilities)
Making appointments to the doctor, the dentist,
Getting the tickets for the concert, theater,
etc.
Man do:
Cooking
Cleaning
Get the garbage out
Pick the kids up when mother can not,
(watching TV does not count
)(great making love is an obligation, no points for that
)etc.
And so on.
So we women we assign a value to each activity with points and then we add them up, so by the end of the day, week, month,........the result for us women is that we did many more points that Romeo but Romeos measure their participations different especially if they make more money than Julieta.
For them just bringing the bread home, sort to speak that gives those “enough” points to balance the relationship.
That book was fun and some interesting.
I do believe that in a relationship Julieta and Romeo ought to give 100:100 both and if they are committed and make compromises; they might have a better opportunity to enjoy a happy and meaningful relationship.
