1. If you are choking on an ice cube, don't panic. Simply pour a cup of
boiling water down your throat and presto! The blockage will be almost
instantly removed.

2. Clumsy? Avoid cutting yourself while slicing vegetables by getting
someone else to hold them while you chop away.

3. Avoid arguments with the Mrs. about lifting the toilet seat by simply
using the sink.

4. High blood pressure sufferers: simply cut yourself and bleed for a while,
thus reducing the pressure in your veins.

5. A mouse trap, placed on top of your alarm clock, will prevent you from
rolling over and going back to sleep when you hit the snooze button.

6. If you have a bad cough, take a large dose of laxatives, then you will be
afraid to cough.

7. Have a bad toothache? Hit your thumb with a hammer, then you will forget about the toothache. (specially for Imm)

8. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

SERIOUSLY: if you burn your hand or any other part, applying flour is high on the list for best relief ... if you have itching or similar symtoms between your toes or butt, a weak iodine solution is very helpful

For severe Sinus infections ....... inhale the vapour from Marijuana leaves in boiling water (towel over your head thing that your Grandma used to do to you when you were a kid).
For congested chest you can smoke the Marijuana,(but only naturally grown nice green MaryJane! NOT the intense hybrids grown in attics under lights that cops raid and lock you up in gaol for) inhaling very deeply - you will have a lovely sleep and wake up all cured!

Not into the Mj, but love using eucalytpus leaves though...actually, the oil from, used the same way you describe. It's been a while since I've needed to but a few drops on the pillow if congested, is great while you sleep.happy place

Really? That's interesting. I wonder what causes the relief? It's certainly an ingredient most people have in their pantry.

I've only ever applied ice or kept the hand under cold running water.

wine

grin Yes, leaves from the Camphor plant work too, just the same - except I dunno if you can smoke it! But the vapour works. I guess the same would be true of the Eucalyptus leaves?

If all else fails, and you have a major sinus infection - just go for the real heavy drugs from your local dealer - The Doctor - he is licenced for the heavy stuff!grin Doesn`t matter if it kills off everything else in your body - at least your sinus infection will be gone.......bouquet

You wanna know what causes the burn to stop? ..... Its the lack of oxygen! Running water, ice water, flour, even just a bandage. But it`s better to COOL down the burn to stop it burning deeper.

Just like a fire - if it lacks oxygen it stops burning - and your skin is actually still "smouldering" - so stop it burning!

If nothing is available, just wrap it up, preferably in something wet.

Yes. I flew over there the other night, found your place, and cut down your MJNA tree. Had a hell of a time getting thru customs at the airport. But managed to convince them it was just a giant Thyme bush crossed with a Camphor bush, and they were happy to let it thru. I had to take it on the plane with me - had to buy it a seat too!

But then the Swiss customs refused it entry into the country, so I sent it on alone to Austria, to that old guy who used to be on CS - Wedward - remember him?

You remember old Wedy? Wow!

Actually I don`t know how he is doing. Last I heard from him was when he proposed to me and I told him he`s too young for me. I still have his phone number, will try and phone him and see if he`s still alive.

whitehorse: is it true if you eat an orange when you have a heartburn it is helpful?
Maybe. It could work. Depends on your specific metabolism or whatever it is your body is needing to produce the specific acids to aid digestion.

If you get a craving to eat something, then eat it.

Raw green beans is also known to cure heartburn. Or ...... plain unsweetened natural yoghurt.

Smoky: maybe you can help on this one. Some one I know claimed it is better for heart burn; to have tea with the juice of the peel than the juice of the lemon fruit itself. I found no difference
