Server wanted login to get changed (it makes such claims each third month) and I changed it today indeed… while a code was still running. Then I wanted to check whether the programme has run, and of course I forgot that I’ve changed login a couple of hours ago. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Wrote to sysadmin, what else one has to do, and asked nicely to unlock me… though I doubt he would do it now… Hence, that’s a thread for complains…There are days like this one, aren’t there?

Simple install a decent keylogger to record what you typed or write down in a wee book any changes to passwords etc..It's not complicated.

Indeed! Think how unhandsome it is when a tomato starts to roll over the table and then… Ch-pock!!! A spot of ketchup on newly mopped floor… And of course, it happens when the guests are knocking on the door.
But fortunately enough, it’s a problem of warmer climates. Ours are never so mature to get any damage of being dropped or even thrown against a wall. The later may make them somehow gnawable, but not always.

I don't have any..(neither would I forget a password for a server)..But your gripe was you forgot something silly..I only offered you a solution...I don't care if you take my advice or not (it aint me who's got (or had) a PC problem but you)..Personally I'd take the advice in good faith. Otherwise you'll snooker yourself again.

I have to change the login on this server each third month, it means I lock me out 4 times a year. The current sysadmin is the third one during my time at this salt mine I’m working for. The first two never complained, neither does this one, but I still have a hope…
