I just read exerpts of your son's book on Amazon. Why don't you write a review on there, no need to id. yourself as his mother :)
It's great to see a YA book without foul language. The obvious liminal quality right from the start gets my attention immediately, with mention of walking at night, and 'mist' mentioned a couple of times on page 1... It reminds me of Neil Gaiman's 'The Graveyard Book', where Bod wanders around at night so as not to be seen.
Pass on my good wishes to your son. Will get hold of it it once I have some free time in a few weeks.
