Integrity. Most people don't even know what that means anymore. We have adopted a political and economic system where people are encouraged to be selfish. The result is that those values that hold a community together disappear.
Lying,stealing,and be dishonest,those are,the values today for the man in the street.If you don't follow those new ways,you are regarded as dump and idiot.-

Exactly. They say you are a naive idiot. Worse, if you are honest, most people will do their best to cheat you. Everything is about money.

I think the net is changing how people relate to others. When I was young people were kind and never rude now I find people treat others as if they are not important. If I meet a friend, I say hello and then good-bye when we part. Why is it people don't think they have to do that on line?

Maybe we should create clubs for people who have any values. It is difficult to live in a world where nothing matters.

You are right on the spot Scubadiva. The selfish society is a ticking bomb and is also the target for marketing campaigns. Because a selfish human being wants stuff, and often before anyone else have it. Just to be able to brag about it. And I believe that some people thinks that to be selfish means to have integrity.

Because a selfish human being wants stuff, and often before anyone else have it. Just to be able to brag about it. And I believe that some people thinks that to be selfish means to have integrity.

I agree the world is changing and it makes me feel very old fashioned at times because I do think honesty is important and I have spent my whole life being responsible. At the age I am now I actually want to be a little bit irresponsible but old habits die hard!
Some people have changed.
But not all people have.
There are still many who have values,
usually the values were instilled in them
by their parents.
So - it all depends on what the parents instilled in their kids?
Although, I must say, I know one person who had no parents, had an awful lifej, was treated cruely by foster parents, and is still the most perfect human being, with values surpassing many others.
The only thing "lacking" in this person is self-confidence.
And I`m not talking about myself!
But not all people have.

We getting more and more People on the earth,we want more Luxury and
comfore,but we cann't pay it,- the prise(not the money) is too high.
Our Systems(capitalistic,comunistic,...) take away the humanity because they need more and more Money for their own payment and the commodities.
It's a premanent fight and it's a fight against our own
But I think we have been fighting more then long enouth against each other, it's time to respect and ally each other
and work together for our only livible Planet (Earth).
Otherwise Human beeing belongs to history in several Years.

I don't care if I can be treated as stupid or idiot. It is none of my business. Of course, some people may think I am easy to cheat. But it is not true. I pay a lot of attention and my friend are not many, but true friends and honest.
