Does that include the photos of the 2 male friends that you have posted?? How many scammers have you met here..20, 30? More? Most likely most are from Nigeria...certainly not from the Grand Duchy Of Fenwick...

In all my time here l have met hundreds that have sent messages but the problem is that the site owners do not delete them, maybe a thread should start here they can be added too by all. I had one send me a message 3 weeks ago and now today l was sent a link to a website. In Spain it is rife with Russians so there are many using this site. I do not send messages to any women on this site, l learned my lesson doing that over 10 years ago.
As for the Latvian lady who is complaining you should have better photos and also change your country because whoever you are Latvia is on the list of Scammers countries.
To the German lady complaining, maybe you do not get young boys because they will not be interested in you, that is my opinion only, get a better photo and think about older men who are more(in most cases)respectful and will treat you in a more human way and will not be looking for "The Quickie" with you, maybe you get more pleasure in your life.
At the very end: If you do not feel happy here. Leave.
pat8lanips: There are quite a few real people, but as everybody is saying there are much more scammers. Generally, English is their second language so for those of us who only speak English they're very easy to see. If English is also your second language maybe its not so easy to see.
English is my third language. First, second or third shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone here on CS. After all, this is an international site. People who feels more comfortable with English spoken people, should perhaps look for English spoken sites or domestic sites.

I have been active here for many years.And I even wrote a same question on the EU forum ("The real truth about dating sites.." (archived)[I already forgot the title,sorry]then you could notice what a variety of people with different idea's is active on this site. All this for different reasons. The trick is to develop a kind of intuition or experience to allow you to seperate the crap from the decent ones.
Yes, there are scammers, fraudeurs, and cheaters on the site but also good people.
A tip: I found my real friends in the list without pictures. Maybe focussing on the look alone isn't the best to do???

So, dear Cat Lover_2014, what is a year in a human life? What about, if you are in search for the love of your life? You can find a partner in a second, but is it the real one? I don't think this kind of web sites is the real stuff for that? Make a life in your neighbourhood. But it can be nice to learn about other people all over the world. Oh, btw. read what other CS people write to you, it is mostly good stuff.
The biggest problem are scammers but there are also many other factors, everything also depends on the other person's feelings, those interested stays, those who have no interest after a while disappears, to me such has never happened in real life to find a man who had such strong feelings for me.
Demi7: I think time waist. All that is here are very old , or muslims that want someone to stay in the country, or and scammers. Never seen such a bad dating side honestly.
The site is the best! I mean it! The people using it, are abusing it. Did you ever try a site for a pay? There the scammer is the owner himself. You will never get anything for your money! Except a bunch of lies.

This is such a terrible site. .... May I ask how she dumped you?
Actually, nobody had suffered yet. But only because some people and this site as well warned me about scammers' style of communication.
At least few of positions of this list are really "popular" among scammers.
But for me the main hint, that my penpals scammer, is one(or two) picture in profile. When you ask about more, scammers ask for your private email address, but no pictures are coming. For such cases I have one email, which I don't use normally, where I test scammers.

Honestly, I would say many people are. I know I am and I find it disheartening that someone either does not ready my post and emails me based on my photo. Read the post!!! I am not a "God fearing Trump loving'" woman. I think my profile alludes to that.
However, I have written to two men who I believe are not fakes.
