UK and Brexit
I was wondering about the reaction of Northern Ireland and Scotland now the UK has chosen for a Brexit. A Brexit that was caused by the older and retired groups of the English and Welsh(?)population. Not the younger active groups. Is this not like taken a country into hostage??
Will the Brexit do good to the people of the UK?

I think you will find plenty of young people voted to leave, but then a lot did not bother voting as per usual. You should try other sources for information, that way you get a better idea of what is going on.

The only country been taken hostage is Belgium, your country has been given away to muslims. Start growing a beard.

Yes France has problems, but at least they are waking up to the
fact. Belgium, just more of the same thing.

Not only by not addressing the problem, a certain religious cult that should by banned in Europe. Their beloved EU, is bankrupt.

Re: UK and Brexit
As I can notice the Brexit doesn't takes the interest of the people. I believe they are more occupied with the increasing violence in te world or....with their own comfortzone. Their device = if I can live the way I like I don't care about the other.
Who can blame them?
If economy begins to fail than the politicians and the people will wake up. One thing is sure, a next financial crisis is on its way!! No doubt.

Belgium is not the only problem that is taken hostage by radical moslims. IS is a current in Islam, a radical jihadi salafism supported by some very rich Saudi Arabians. Look where the assaults have been!! What about the refugee problem in Calais that is booming again because the French government doesn't interact properly??
Take look at these schedules of voting on :

Re: UK and Brexit
As far as I can make up from the voting reports it seems that it were the middle aged class and retired people that vited for a Brexit. The younger , active class did vote against; Did this Brexit not complicate or endanger the the futurel of those?? . But as it is in a democracy the majority wins. [Maybe except what is happening in the US today.] Talking about The UK , what was the main reason the people voted against Europe? Because they saw to much legal immigrants coming to England for a job.?? It should be good for the companies and the economy I should say. But there must be another reason why the British people wanted the current of immigrants stopped. Did the refugee crisis had something to do with it?? Was it their social welfare that couldn't stand it?? I am not familiar with the situation in GB. But the people voted NO that is for sure Nevertheless It are not the politics that rule a country but the economics!! So I am wondering what is going to happen in the UK as the economy does not recover as planned? What if a nutty president of the US favorites good (economic) relations with Russia above the UK? How long will the UK remain as it is today as Scotland and Ireland prefer to become a member of The EU for obvious reasons? It are changing and scary moments for GB today. I wish them all the best.

Re: UK and Brexit

Hard Brexit gives way to soft Brexit, if the EU accepts.

UK won't like to trade with the EU like any other non-EU-member country under World Trade Organization rules just to not accept free movement of people.

Soft Brexit means retaining membership of the EU single market for goods and services and some free movement of people, according to European Economic Area rules.

The problem is the lies presented to a mainly under educated population. 90% have no clue dumm just follows dummer. And yes all the hard working never complaining legal foreigner who pay tax for the once that voted out. I am afraid but those dole collectors and pensioners will have to clean the streets, work the fields and treat their sick people alone soon. Why do soooooooooooooooooooo many foreigners get jobs the British wont apply for? Is even enough jobs to cover legal and illegals. Imagine. When the 60% of those foreign owned companies and their 100% foreign employs leave there wont be much left in the shops or for dole or pension! Not to mention the Eu immigrants can´t claim anything unless they work. But instead of educating each other and themselves they just blabber. You want to fish 500 tons instead of a 150 tons of which half the fish is thrown back DEAD in the sea because the British wont eat that fish. Go and fish your 500 tons per fisher, keep complaining. In 5 years time I will have a nice fish dish and so will the UK, the only difference they will have a nice jellyfish dish because there simply will nothing left to fish. Karma

I have always been a pro British person and proud of it and it breaks my heart that I have to say this. What you say about Belgium is true but I am afraid that the UK is not far behind, as a matter of fact in foreign countries London is already being referred to as the muslim capital of Europe.

Re: UK and Brexit
Goodafternoon to all from my experience in the banking sector working for many years I would like also to express my view about the Brexit. I agree with most of you mentioned that there are going to be many against of this decision because England should not consider only the issue of immigrants but other issues that will be harmful to its economy for example
1. a Brexit might drive other countries to take the decision to get out of European Union like Greece and this might create a domino effect

2 and the most important now a large number of various organisations and mostly financial and accounting organissations i.e banking institutions have offices in London a possible Brexit will drive all these big institutions to leave London and move in other European Country many of them I heard that they would prefer Frankfurt in order to continue to enjoy the benefits which countries in Europe enjoy

3. and important based on this is the fact that English people a huge number will loose their jobs since if so many financial institutions move to another EU country consider that there are many people who because of their families might not be easy to move away to work abroad.

on the other hand without mentioning the impact that this decision might have on other EU countries i.e Cyprus and Greece where tourism if considered one of their major source of income for the economy and the majority of tourists especially in those two countries come from England

on the other hand travelling in European Countries will be difficult for residents of England since most probably they will need visa to travel I am not sure about that

thanks

As it seems the situation today I do not believe other countries will leave the EU. They are more decided than ever. Nevertheless there are still some problems to solve , look at the evolution in Poland. But that is another issue. The last selections in the UK proved the majority of the people felt to be cheated. Prime minister May and the conservative party lost their power completely. The whole parliament and government is a mess. Where are the big pro-leave instigators as Mr. Farrage and Boris Johson now?? The first disappeared and the other was forced by Theresia May to become minister of foreign affairs. The value of the pound is low. Could be interesting for investments but the investors wait for the Brexit negogiations. And where to export their products if they have to pay import taxes? The profits will disappear. Big financial groups are leaving London for Frankfurt and Paris. Other members of the UK (Scotland, North Ireland) are considering the possiblity of a referendum about their membership of the UK. Where will it leads to?? About the impact on tourism. Tourism heals itself by time. The sector is more afraid of the impact of terrorism than of the absence of the English tourists. I heard on the news that people in countries as Spain, Greece e.o. complain about the anually overcrowding of destructive young English people . At this moment it seems The UK is the biggest loser. I wonder what the future might bring.

Belgium as any other Western country is taken hostage by it values and its rules that are based on, the liberal idea's of the Enlightening period. They all have become so soft they did not see the problems of immigration till it was too late! Thanks to our employers and politicians more than once a controlled immigration of cheap labour forces was organised. No problems till last year Germany and Sweden did send special trained people to Turkey and other Middle East countries to recruit young labourforces. The rest is history. And what has this all to do with the Brexit issue?? The UK wanted a Brexit because of LEGAL (most European) labourers that took over the jobs of the UK people. As Boris Johnson admits today this was not the real reason for the Brexit at all. But "The UK doesn't want to give up its independancy to the EU" he stated.
About yourself, are you a native French or an immigrated Englishman in France? It would explain a lot.

Re: UK and Brexit
The main problem with Brexit and immigration is that Brexit is scaring away the kind of immigrants Britain is rather keen to retain:
1) those currently working in the financial sector in London, which is about to relocate abroad,
2) those keeping the NHS upright: the influx of french and german GPs or portuguese nurses is about to dry up,
3) researchers working in the universities which will lack the EU funding and collaboration programs

while those not authorized to enter Britain won't keep away just because of Brexit. Britain has never been part of the Schengen area, so border controls have always been there.
