I was just watching Dad's Army on BBC Prime....what a wonderful comedy. How do you rate the older comedy's compared to the newer ones? Which one is your favourite?

My all time favourite is My Family on BBC Prime at 18.30hrs..brilliant comedy laugh

one of my favourites used to be Fawlty Towers.
It used to have me in stitchesrolling on the floor laughing
They didnt do that many of them, which is a shame.

Yes both of them were great, David Jason is brilliant. He was also good in Darling Buds of May.

My favourites are Dad's Army, Fawlty Towers and Are You Being Served.

I managed to get Fawlty Towers on DVD, but not the others!! sigh

I prefer the British comedies to the american ones, its prob. my british humour kicking in.

Although i did used to like mork and Mindy and The Cosby Show when i was young.

The thing is that I used to watch it on Italian TV, but they were still hilarious!!

Jacko, 'Some Mothers Do Have Them' was really hilarious!! I forgot to mention it in my previous post.

The nice thing about them was that they gave us a 30 minute break from real life.
