My all time favourite is My Family on BBC Prime at 18.30hrs..brilliant comedy

I was always partial to Only fools and horses.......always a laugh. Are you being served is another one that springs to mind
Yes both of them were great, David Jason is brilliant. He was also good in Darling Buds of May.
My favourites are Dad's Army, Fawlty Towers and Are You Being Served.
I managed to get Fawlty Towers on DVD, but not the others!!

Keeping up Appearances was great too with Richard and Hyacinth.
Too sophisticated for me I could never laugh at Hyacynth........oh well

yes there are lots of good comedy series to chose from. Allo, Allo was really funny too.
Jacko, 'Some Mothers Do Have Them' was really hilarious!! I forgot to mention it in my previous post.

Yepp, you're referring to Rene's mum-in-law!!
yes i used to love that series, it brings back good memories for me.
The nice thing about them was that they gave us a 30 minute break from real life.
