Paris and Eifel Tower (72)
Paris would not be Paris from a tourist point of view without the Eifel Tower. There are many other attractions, but seeing it lit up at night, with a nice glass of wine and great company is for me.
Paris will have tourists, because there are many tourist attractions.
But I cannot see the tower being moved anyway.

Hmmmmmmmm..... if the Eifel Tower was moved I could stand in its place and wave a flag and shout obscenities and stuff...........like:

The Eifel Tower was only supposed to be a temporary structure. It was well built. It's still standing. I'm not!

Eifel was going to make a pyramid, but the French goverment ran out of money..........
The Eifel tower is really a bit like the Channel Tunnel, but vertical and going nowhere.......now if they put up a bit of scaffolding like that up in London the PC brigade would have it down before it was half-way up!
Maybe they can put a fan on the top of the Eifel tower and turn it into a wind turbine thingy?

Paris wouldn't loose its beauty and soul without Tour Eiffel.... but few tourists less would be great....
Fact is they are good in marketing Tour Eiffel as main attraction in Paris.... to my opinion there are many better / nicer ones... .
Maybe number of tourists climbing it every day prove I'm wrong .-(

I,ve got my own lickle tower just for beautiful ladies to climb atop of and yes mine is much nicer and better than that grotty ickle thingy in Paris.

Well, I will expect them all to be as sparkly.
I love the Eiffel Tower at night.
But Elley is correct there is much more to Paris than the Eiffel Tower, I love Notre Dame, something very powerful about it all.
