My overall experience.

Well I have been vegetarian since the age of 12, I have noticed that I rarely get sick or have any physical issues at all. I also water fast three days of the week, two days minimum. I don't exercise at all, but atleast I am vegetarian. I eat a low amount of food regularly, about 400 - 600 calories per day, which is why Im under 90 pounds lol. But again it's all plant based and I feel great physically.

There are still plenty of people who don't know the differences between vegan and vegetarian, and who think 100% plant-based eaters (AKA "healthy vegan diet") can't have "good food" like pizza with cheese, sausages, burgers, pasta, steaks, ... because all those can be made with 100% plant-based material and taste fantastic, plus you don't put that crap from animal-based foods into your body, especially heme iron (cancer causing) and unhealthy fats, cholesterol (atherosclerosis, into heart disease and other diseases). It's important to also be a responsible vegan-dieter / plant-based eater, showing that with superior health and longevity.

RE: My thoughts

Vegetarian is a good start, but should really move to 100% plant-based, as long as you have access to nutrient and energy dense enough foods, such as nuts and seeds - avocados also, but I personally don't very rarely buy those, I rather get tahini. As long as those are available to you, there is no reason to be vegetarian and consume anything from animals, especially no dairy, eggs have little nutrients and due to heme iron and unhealthy fats and cholesterol are also inadvisable - not to mentions that if store bought, sponsors a horrible industry.

My thoughts

I have been a vegetarian for over 3 years now and plan on being a vegetarian until I die, I have gotten so many benefits from being a vegetarian that I feel amazing every single day I wake up.
I personally find people who say they love animals and then eat meat to be gross, As it goes to show that you really don't care or have a heart for that matter.

RE: THERE NEEDS TO BE A VEGAN, AND VEGETARIAN SELLECTION CRITERIA

Veganmale...that is an excuse. I dated a vegetarian for over a year..we had no issues with meals. He ate what he wanted and I ate what I wanted. Sometimes vegetarian other times I would eat meat. I eat several meals at his families house and they did not cook anything special for me and I never had a meal I did not like, even though it was vegetarian.
If you are going to base a relationship on food, then you will be single awhile longer.

THERE NEEDS TO BE A VEGAN, AND VEGETARIAN SELLECTION CRITERIA

THIS SITE NEEDS IMPROVEMENT.

There needs to be a Vegan, and vegetarian sellection criteria on this site. I have requested it, but gotten nowhere. As the name suggests I'm a Vegan 29 years, with 4 years Vegetarian before that.
The should be a separate food preference area on this site. People don't realise how incompatible
Vegans, and Vegetarians are from Meat Eaters. That's why we're single because we make up only
2% of the population.

Sincerely,

Veganmale2010.
