the reason for this group is to discuss children and how our dating fits in. Do you find it hard to get a serious relationship going? How hard is it to date at all, do men understand about your responsibilities? Single or divorced women 40 or over with underage children still in the nest....

There are quite a few women who fall into that category and it's a very competitive one. If you want to date and you still have small kids and you are over 40, you really need to try harder. I met someone from a date site a while back. He had no patients. I had to plan a time to go out when i could get a sitter or when my son was not at home.Well, he did not like that. If i could not go when he wanted then that was it. He was a punk and i am glad i did not see him any more. since then it seems that even men who have small children in their lives are not understanding to our condition. I feel like i am closing off my heart because of so many bad apples.Please tell me that there is some happy endings for women with children. i never thought at this age i would still be alone.Introduce yourself to the group and post a comment.
