For dog lovers, what kind of dogs you owned or would like to own? share your story here i own a labrador retriever name max No drama and stay on topic....
Anyone a fan of Border Collies? I have 2 and they have no 'herd' to manage, so they manage me! My boy Micki decides when I should go to bed and pesters me till I finally go. He prefers life on a schedule. Anyone out ther want to swap dog stories?
Have you got some land where your goats live?? I have 50 acres here but will be selling up to live near the Coast.I think its great to walk on the beach with my dogs. I will need space though as I am used to having no close neighbors. Used to breed thoroughbreds in another lifetime really miss them.
I have been on CS a while now but never realised that these pet forums were here Anyway I am owned by Shane my wonderful Golden Retriever who is the most gentle and responsible boy I have ever had.Followed by my lumbering Clumbers Oscar and Maybelle. Two entire males a a spayed female who live in perfect harmony. And their mission in life is to love and look after me.
had my fella for 10 great years we have such a inseperable bond,age is quickly catching up with him though and his back legs are getting weak,but he still perks up when i put the hat on;knows we're off out! dont know where i'd be without him.
She is a Jack Russel/chihuahua. She's 10years old but still spry and active and acts like she's a puppy at times. My Mom and just love her. She's part of the family
I like your story!! Cheer up! All these critters are here so that you can school them for their human bodies where one day they will in another lifetime become your very own children!!

I have 3 fighting type dogs as I live in crime heaven, as it has become known to the rest of the world today. As long as your jealous dog is not one of the fighting breeds, things should settle down. Believe you me .. I have always, my stun gun close at hand to show to my dogs, when ever I can see a problem brewing .. and believe you me .. I just have to show it to them, or just even call out its name, and they are as good as gold!!
I have a 9 month old Blue Merle Border Collie-Cohen and a 3 year old mutt, mostly some kind of terrier with a little collie thrown in for good measure - Roxie doodle.
Just love them both to bits.
Also have 4 cats and at the moment 3 kittens 2 weeks old.
I have 3 dogs now, the oldest is mostly lab/newfie, the younger two arre a golden/gsd and a beagle. The old one came along from Alaska, the other two I got here. When I lived in Alaska, I was sort of a private rescue, and I've had somewhere over 60 dogs in the past 40 years. All but three were rescues.
Nice to meet you patylee. I do the same. It´s just so hard to find homes for mixed races, if only people knew how adorable and intelligent they are. They are real survivors. I´m a proud mom of seven right now. Next week one of them will have knee surgery, just a ligament though. Wish us luck.
I have been rescuing animals for 10 years and mostly dogs. Right now I have 8. I place them in loving homes and some I have kept that were not good to place in a home. I call them my wounded friends.
Hi Josey69,im a dog lover myself and still grieve for my dogs who have passed on years ago ,you never forget them and the unconditional love they have given you,i like to think my dogs are looking down on me and keeping me right and ill meet them again and walk over rainbow bridge together. Dasti
