RE: Anyone keep goats
Well i have goats both milkers and meat. I love my goat milk for cheeses and yogurt and soap but when it comes to drinking milk i love cow! I don't have a cow yet but trade veggies with neighbor for milk. I had a beautiful homestead where i lived 10 years then a hurricane ruined everything! When your alone you come back as not as big so i am rebuilding my homestead in a new location.RE: Just to say hello

Welcome Rose and glad to see you here.RE: Potatoes
How do you know when to dig up your potaotes? Mine have bloomed and now starting to close the color on the leaves.RE: the dreaded weather
We in CT, USA are also experiencing allot of strange weather. The clouds turn heavy and black, pour down in large buckets, then the sun comes out. Now, this has happened as many as 3 times per day. I have to cut the grass around my home several times per week, everything is growing like crazy.RE: the dreaded weather
Yah, we've had unusually cold and wet weather up until last week, when finally the sun came out. But it didnt last long, now we are back to rain..meh..
the dreaded weather
we in Ireland are having a shocking run of bad weather and one of the consequences is the weeds are over running the plants , up to now I have managed to consume strawberries, peas, lettuce, raddish, spring onions, spinnach and corgette to name a few[not all for the same meal tho] the pumpkins are flowering well so should have enough for all the local kids as well as mine , outdoor toms and peppers are in need of a bit of sun but all in all things are looking good [potatoes are doing well but if this rain keeps up they will get blight , if this happens please dont compost them as with tomato plants the risk of spreading disease next season id too great so please burn them ] happy growing and eatingDuncan

RE: Hi Every One
I am a very curious person. I saw your profile and your great farming. The MANGO tree...all those plantations...Great! I was watching in net some information about your region. I found many intresting information and very nice views. I wish this year you can get a prize with your mango. I have some berry in my garden, but just for me. It is a very small plot of land.I could see in Sind there is tradition of SUFI poetry? I would like to know about the SUFI culture in your region.
Have a very nice week.
