Sowed poppies two weeks ago. Spring is slow, we still have some snow. They have just started to appear, green pinpoints, I hope the snow won`t last so that they can grow.

Oh of course, I 'forgot' about Chile being south of the equator.. so gardening is only just beginning for you..

So what are the first flowers of Spring where you are? Are you high above sea level?

Here in Switzerland we always have Snow Drops as the first sign of Spring..

Opium Poppies grow wild on the high country, in the South lsland of New Zealand & are very popular with sheep farmers.
