Great film,not bad story line,,but not a patch on the book,,,,
Yep...a great movie 
I liked this movie because it wasnt your average polished set like other films. Check out to bonus features to see what I'm talking about. I loved the part where the actual history of Judy Dench's character is revealed, its the drawstring in the whold film that brings all the characters together. Kate Blanchett is terrific in the short part she plays in the film at the beginning . I didnt recognize her at first but she was fab!
Actually Blooms I must agree,Kate Blankett was very good in this.
