I watched this movie when i was younger and in my more formative years !!!! I really enjoyed it, but the best thing i took from it was, "To see the world from other views or another angle" .... Something that has stayed with me to now .... My best bit ? .... Has to be when the class rises to their desks .... "Oh Captain ! My Captain !" .... Oh, and the appreciation i gained of Walt Whitman's poetry was good too !
Sorry, i should have said, check out the clip on my videos .... Very moving !! Don't mind the sub-titles but this clip had the best sound when i checked them out !!
The most important lesson can be summed into two words. "Be Tolerant". Be yourself, and allow others the same freedom. Just because you have the capability to control another is not to say that it is the right thing go do.
I loved this film, it made you want to cry and cheer
Terrific movie. Not Williams best, but good nonetheless.
