The Incredible Hulk TV Series

The Incredible Hulk TV Series Movie (1978)

A fugitive scientist has the curse of becoming a powerful green monster under extreme emotional stress.

Dr. David Banner is a brilliant scientist but, one day, a laboratory experiment that he is working on goes terribly awry. Since that time, whenever he is under extreme stress, his body undergoes a transmogrification and he morphs into the Incredible Hulk. The Hulk is about seven feet tall, hugely muscular and powerful, and has bright green skin. After destroying whatever threatens Dr. Banner, he morphs back to normal human form with only amnesia and tattered clothing as evidence of what just transpired. As you can well imagine, this situation is quite troubling for Dr. Banner and causes him a great amount of problems. All the while, he is pursued by Jack McGee, an investigative reporter who believes that the Hulk is a deadly menace whose exposure would enhance his career.

Classic - Good stories understandable with good Doctor David Banner (Bill Bixby) travelling for work and looking for a cure for the Hulk is always helpful in situations that end up transforming him into the Hulk to finish helping. The Hulk (Lou Ferrigno) never kills but actually helps and saves people. When calmed down and transformed back, David Banner leaves the area to avoid news and trailing reporter Jack McGee always trying to get the story of the Hulk. Somehow, David Banner hitchhiking down the road in friendly manner during end credits is burned into my memory well - the nice days before illegal, arrestable, finable hitchhiking across USA.
