Inman serving Dixie, decides he fought enough, and becomes determined to get back to the woman he loves. Tremendous heartwarming romance, with some bitterness from the awful war raging. A very special film. 4 stars

great movie, the book was awesome too. Living in the South & driving by/through the towns mentioned in this movie is awe inspiring. The towns are miles apart.
