Arguably the best adaptation of a Steven King novel....some would say Shawshank Redemption (same writer-King /director - Darabont), I'd have to disagree... Everyone acted out of their skins, and Michael Clarke Duncan put in a career best... Absolutely essential film for any collection...

great movie, the book was awesome too. Living in the South & driving by/through the towns mentioned in this movie is awe inspiring. The towns are miles apart.I wouldn't really call this a romance, more soul searching than anything

I just watched King's Speech again. I really like film that is art real like and even more so those that depict transformation, and King's Speech fits the bill. Speech therapist is also a renegade in the he has not formal training in that endeavor but excels and meets the King in a place that perhaps a "formally trained" speech therapist would not. So the story becomes even more humane, for me. I give King's Speech 5 stars. To je muj nejoblíbenejší film. Líbí se mi dej i prostredí. Tak to dopadá když chlap ztratí hlavu. Oba protagonisté si hrají s ohnem. Na konci si vždy poplácu.
