Speaking of 1920s musicals -- I have this DVD and many, many other DVD musicals that I love to view and review/research whenever I'm working on costume design for another show.
One of my fav songs is Some Enchanted Evening. It speaks of the hope-for destiny of love. :)
Another movie I dearly love, and yep! I've also done costuming for a live production of this fun show. I love period musicals set around the turn of the previous century and musicals from the 1920s.
Most of the movie musicals I've seen and like, I've also seen the live theatre version. I LOVE to go backstage and schmooze with my fellow thespians. I've worked on costume design/construction for a live theatre prod for this show.

This is an amazing movie. Who new, not only is Johnny Depp sexy, and an amazing actor, but an awesome singer as well. Well of course I knew, he can do anything. He is so dreamy.
