I've been interested in Alt Rock for a long time, but just recently have I started listen to bands like Mudvayne, Slipknot, Korn and Killswitch Engage. Granted, the lyrics are difficult to understand at times, but I was doing myself a great injustice by not researching the lyrics and I've discovered how much substance is really in their lyrics.

Take a moment to listen to a song and at the same time be looking at the lyrics. I'm sure your eyes will open widely and you'll be listening to a lot of bands who you have previously dismissed as being nothing but screaming. At least I have...
