At one point, this was my favorite song from MCR because of what it represents. I now have other favorites from them. It really depends on where I am in my life that determines the music that I listen to. Their music always seems to have a great message behind it. Vampires, in my opinion, are meant to represent things/people that bring us down. He talks about not wanting to live (not really literally), if those vampires ever took him down because it would mean that everything he believed in in a way meant nothing.
