somebody take my temperature! i think i got the fever.....****new live video posted feb 5th/22. musical guest appearance on the comedy improv show, second city (toronto theatre)****it was the "reach up and touch the sky" live album that made southside johnny & the asbury jukes my favourite band. it wasn't a shoe-in, though. a reviewer in stereo review magazine said these guys were the next big thing so, i bought the album. i played it a number of times and i didn't get it. it sat on my record shelf for a few months and then i gave them a 2nd shot. after a number of more spins, it finally clicked. these guys were the next big thing in my mind! the voice, the songs, the blaring horn that sounded like electric guitars. seen them a number of times live.
