Opens with a BS&T-like horn ensemble intro. Makes you think you're about to hear God Bless the Child but NO. Just foreshadowing what's to come as the song slowly builds to crescendo. Nice 60's Hammond B-3 organ with rotating Leslie speaker sound. Have several patches I use that emulate that sound.
Three Dog Night did a version that has much more of that Hammond B-3 sound but their version builds to raucus rock with beaucoup guitar.
