in honour of sidney poitier (1927-2022) who starred in "to sir with love", "in the heat of the night" and "guess who's coming to dinner", all in 1967. one of the greatest actors and an outstanding human being. the song didn't chart in the UK but, reached #1 on the US billboard top 100 and was the best selling in the States in 1967.
